Korea Announces ₩500B Quantum Computing National Initiative

The Korean government has unveiled a landmark investment plan targeting quantum computing infrastructure and talent development through 2030.
The Ministry of Science and ICT announced a comprehensive ₩500 billion (approx. €340M) investment programme targeting quantum computing R&D, infrastructure buildout, and workforce development through 2030. The initiative will fund 10 national quantum research centres and establish a bilateral exchange programme with European counterparts, including Austria's QuantumAustria network.
