K-AUT Bilateral AI Governance Framework Unveiled at Vienna Summit

Korea and Austria jointly released a policy framework governing ethical AI use in cross-border clinical research and data-sharing contexts.
At the K-AUT S&T Summit held in Vienna, delegations from both nations formally adopted the Bilateral AI Governance Framework — a set of binding principles covering algorithmic transparency, cross-border data ethics, and liability for AI-assisted clinical decisions. The framework will serve as a template for future agreements under the K-AUT Focal Point structure.
